My Current Cleansing Routine.

Oils and balms

On those days when I'm wearing makeup,  especially waterproof mascara, I'd start my evening skin care routine with L'Occitane Immortelle Oil Makeup Remover. It is hands down the best makeup removing oil. Unlike famous chamomile oil by The Body Shop the scent of this one doesn't scream or linger, it's very subtle and pleasant. It helps to melt down any kind of make-up fast and easy. And another bonus - it doesn't sting my eyes, doesn't blur the vision or cause any kind of discomfort. You just rub one pump of it between the palms of your hands, massage into your face, rinse it off and all your make-up is gone (well almost all).

REN Rosa Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser is awesome for morning time routine or if you're not planning on taking off your eye make-up with it as it stings eyes very badly. You can read more about it here .

Micellar waters

When I feel like I need additional cleansing step but I don't want to wash my face I'll just dampen a cotton pad in one of my micellar waters and wipe my face with it while I'm watching YouTube or some TV-show.  Ya know, sometimes the sooner my skincare routine moves to bed the better.
I have two micellar waters that I like - Caudalie Make-up Remover Cleansing Water and Yves Rocher Micellar Cleansing Water. First one is too gentle so it only really works as a second step, don't even try to take off any kind of eye make-up with it, you will not be successful.

Foaming cleansers

If I fancy extra clean skin I'll use some kind of foaming cleanser. At the moment I have three - Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Mild which has no scent and in general is a good and simple cleanser. L'Occitane Immortelle Precious Cleansing Foam which I really like because it's easy to use, especially with a cleansing brush, it's gentle yet cleansing and I love the smell of it. And last but not least Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser. I also really enjoy using it, it creates very smooth silky and fragrant lather and doesn't dry out my skin.

The one and only - Clinique Exfoliating Scrub. In a few words - it's the best thing you can use to make your skin look and feel smoother and more even instantly. In more details, I talked about it here .

Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush is something I use when I need extra deep clean and exfoliation. It gives my skin same results as my all time favorite scrub that I mentioned earlier but it's more versatile. I can use it with any type of cleanser, including balms and clay based cleansers by Glamglow. If you want to read more of my thoughts about this brush check out my next post.
